Key Management and Technical Team

George B. Courcier

Vice President Marketing and Midstream

Mr. Courcier began his career with PDC Energy in December, 2010. Mr. Courcier brings to his position over thirty years of experience in exploration, production and midstream operations, engineering, and business development. Mr. Courcier is responsible for PDC’s marketing and midstream activity including the Company’s wholly owned marketing subsidiary, Riley Natural Gas, he negotiates and manages all related gas purchase, gathering, and processing contracts, as well as oil sales agreements. Mr. Courcier is also responsible for the development of midstream infrastructure projects for PDC Energy. Most recently, Mr. Courcier served as Senior Vice President – Business Development for Legion Energy Services in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Prior to Legion, he served in various management positions with midstream and E&P companies, including Regency Gas Services, Samson Resources, Duke Energy Field Services and Amoco Production Company. Mr. Courcier holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

John A. DeLawder

Vice President Human Resources & Administration

Mr. DeLawder was appointed to his current position in July 2009 after joining PDC in April 2006 as Director Human Resources. He brings with him over 25 years of professional experience. A graduate of West Virginia University, Mr. DeLawder's career includes human resource and operations experience in the energy, government contracting, hi-tech, and manufacturing sectors.

Susan A. Foster

Director Reserve Engineering

Ms. Foster was appointed to her current position after joining PDC in 1997 as a Petroleum Engineer. A graduate of Penn State University with a B.S. Degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, Ms. Foster is responsible for monitoring production to insure all wells perform at peak efficiency. She also maintains the annual reserve evaluations and reviews reserve information for potential acquisitions. Prior to joining PDC, Ms. Foster was employed as a Petroleum Engineer with Penn Virginia Oil and Gas Corporation and Equitable Resources. Ms. Foster is a member of the SPE.

James F. Gaulke

Vice President Information Technology

Mr. Gaulke began his career with PDC in August 2009. He previously served for ten years as VP Systems – Chief Information Officer for Nordstrom Bank, a wholly owned banking subsidiary of its national department store chain. Mr. Gaulke brings over twenty years of experience in planning, developing and executing all facets of strategic technology initiatives. During Mr. Gaulke’s tenure with Nordstrom Bank he was responsible for information infrastructure and security, physical infrastructure, and application portfolio management. Prior to Nordstrom Bank, Mr. Gaulke worked for twelve years with General Electric Capital Corporation in various roles of increasing responsibility. Mr. Gaulke holds an MBA in Finance from Kennesaw University in Georgia, and a BS in Mathematics from Iona College in New York.

Kimberly A. George

Director Accounts Payable and Joint Interest Billing

Ms. George joined PDC Energy in October 2011 as Director of Accounts Payable and Joint Interest Billing.  Ms. George brings over 23 years of experience in her field, including budgeting and forecasting, project economic analysis, acquisitions and due diligence, implementation and maintenance of oil and gas industry accounting software, and financial reporting.  Prior to joining PDC, Ms. George was a Senior Financial Analyst with Consol Energy, Inc. in Jane Lew, WV, as well as with Dominion Exploration and Production, Inc. based in Richmond, VA. Ms. George graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science dual-degree in Accounting and Office Administration from Fairmont State College in Fairmont, WV.

Adell K. Heneghan

Director Environmental

Ms. Heneghan joined PDC Energy in September 2009.  As Environmental Director, her responsibilities include environmental remediation, regulatory compliance, technology review, and environmental planning, as well as leadership for PDC’s environmental professional team.  Ms. Heneghan brings over twenty five years experience to PDC, most recently serving as the environmental field coordinator for PDC’s Piceance Asset.  Prior to joining PDC she served as an HES professional for Marathon Oil Company, and an EHS professional with the Petrolite Division of Baker Hughes.  Ms. Heneghan’s background also includes working as a nonprofit Executive Director with the Black Canyon Regional Land Trust, Vice-President of a fortune 200 waste management corporation, and environmental consulting as President/Owner of AJ Associates, Inc.  Her practiced background in environmental engineering support roles has included water and waste management, environmental compliance, vendor audits, remediation planning, and air permitting.  Ms. Heneghan holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Environmental Engineering and Environmental Biology from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, as well as a Masters of Natural Resource Management from the University of Idaho.

Berthold R. Jedamski

Senior Director Accounting Operations

Mr. Jedamski joined PDC in June 2008. Mr. Jedamski has over 15 years of industry experience with various E&P companies with Appalachian Basin, Mid-Continent, and Western Region assets. He has also been employed at Toothman Rice PLLC, a regional accounting firm, where he specialized in Oil & Gas Industry client services. Most recently, he was employed by Linn Energy, LLC where he served as Director of Operations Accounting. Mr. Jedamski is a graduate of Glenville State College in Glenville, WV with a BS in Accounting. He also holds an MBA from the University of Charleston in Charleston, WV.

James A. Lillo

Vice President Engineering and Acquisitions

Mr. Lillo, a petroleum engineer, joined PDC Energy in October 2011 as Vice President – Engineering and Technology.  Mr. Lillo’s proven background in reservoir, production and operations engineering is a culmination of working for over 35 years in the oil and gas industry.  Mr. Lillo’s responsibilities include directing PDC Energy’s corporate reserve valuations per SEC guidelines, and supervising reservoir engineering projects, production forecasting and strategic planning. He also assists in PDC’s A&D efforts and focuses on evaluating technologies related to the development of oil and gas reserves.

Prior to joining PDC, Mr. Lillo was Vice President– Engineering with Saga Petroleum Corp.  Prior to this, Mr. Lillo was Vice President– Acquisitions for seven years with Patina Oil & Gas Corporation where he lead both the company’s business development strategy as well as Patina’s acquisition efforts, including sourcing and screening acquisition candidates and valuation of oil and gas properties and companies.  Previous to this role, Mr. Lillo worked with Consolidated Oil & Gas, Inc., serving as Vice President– Engineering, where he was responsible for leading the Company’s reservoir engineering and acquisitions teams.  He has also held positions in various engineering capacities with Hart Exploration, Champlin Petroleum Company and Shell Oil Company. Mr. Lillo has also worked as an independent petroleum engineering consultant for multiple oil and gas companies throughout his career.  Mr. Lillo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering, with a minor in Petroleum Engineering, from the Colorado School of Mines and is a Registered Professional Engineer.

Inge K. Lockwood

Director Land Administration

Ms. Lockwood began her career with PDC Energy in May 2006. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Lockwood served as Supervisor of Land Records at Kerr-McGee, Rocky Mountain Corporation. She offers over twenty years of experience in the oil and gas industry, focused in all areas of land administration, including supervisory roles in land records, and lease analyst and cartographer responsibilities. Prior to Kerr-McGee, Ms. Lockwood worked for Hanson & Strahn, Inc., Accessory Sales, Inc. and Evertson Oil Company. Ms. Lockwood attended Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska.

David W. McHenry

Senior Director Financial Reporting & Taxation

Mr. McHenry, a Certified Public Accountant, joined PDC in April 2008. Mr. McHenry has over 34 years experience in auditing, accounting and finance. Prior to joining PDC, Mr. McHenry was employed for the previous six years by R.C. Holsinger & Associates, a Pittsburgh based certified public accounting firm as a Senior Manager and head of the Assurance Practice with a specialization in the energy industry. Immediately prior to that, Mr. McHenry served as Chief Financial Officer for Verland, Inc. a large non-profit service provider. Prior to that, Mr. McHenry spent over sixteen years with public accounting firms serving various public and non-public companies including thirteen years as manager or senior manager with KPMG's Pittsburgh office with a specialization in the energy industry. Mr. McHenry holds a BSBA in Accounting from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Mr. McHenry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

R. Scott Meyers

Chief Accounting Officer

Mr. Meyers was appointed to his current position in April of 2009. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Meyers served as a Senior Manager with Schneider Downs Co. Inc., an accounting firm based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Meyers served in such capacity from April 2008 to March 2009. Prior thereto from November 2002 to March 2008 Mr. Meyers was employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the last two and one-half years serving as Senior Manager. Mr. Meyers holds a BS in Accounting from Grove City College, Pennsylvania.

Celesta M. Miracle

Vice President Strategic Planning

Ms. Miracle joined PDC in 2004 and was appointed to her current position after serving as Vice President Investor Relations and Communications. Prior to joining PDC, Ms. Miracle was an Investment Representative with Edward Jones for three years. She also has 10 years of oil and gas experience with Dominion Resources, where her focus was primarily in the regulatory area. Ms. Miracle graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. Degree in Accounting from West Virginia University and received her MBA from Duke University.

Alex M. Nash

Asset Director Permian Basin

Mr. Nash joined PDC Energy in March, 2011. Mr. Nash has responsibility over PDC’s Permian Basin assets and operations. He brings with him over thirty eight years of E&P operational experience, managing production, completion, drilling and construction operations throughout the Continental U.S., Canada, Onshore and Offshore GOM, West Africa and South America. Most recently, Mr. Nash served as Operations Manager/Team Lead for Delta Petroleum Corporation in Denver, Colorado. Prior to Delta, he worked with various E&P companies including El Paso E&P, Luff Exploration and Apache Corporation. Mr. Nash holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Business Minor from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming.

Scott J. Reasoner

Vice President Western Operations

Mr. Reasoner joined PDC in April 2008 as Vice President Operations. Mr. Reasoner is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Petroleum Engineering and also earned an MBA from the University of Colorado. Mr. Reasoner has nearly 25 years of progressive technical and management experience in the energy industry. Most recently he served as a Business Unit Manager with Noble Energy Corporation where he was responsible for engineering, geological, and field operations. Prior to his work with Noble Energy, Mr. Reasoner worked for Patina Oil and Gas Company starting as Production Manager working his way up to Vice President Operations. His earlier experience includes positions with Snyder Oil Corporation and Vessels Oil and Gas Company.

Brian E. Robinson

Director Operational Reporting & Accounting

Mr. Robinson, a Certified Public Accountant, joined PDC Energy in January 2010 and was appointed to his current position in September 2011.  Prior to joining PDC Energy, Mr. Robinson was employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Pittsburgh assurance practice.  While at PwC, Mr. Robinson served clients in the oil and gas, manufacturing, insurance and construction industries.  Mr. Robinson holds a BSBA in Accounting from Robert Morris University.

Shannon D. Ross

Director Human Resources

Ms. Ross joined PDC Energy in October 2011.  As Director of Human Resources, her responsibilities include planning, development and implementation of human resources programs and policies in conjunction with senior management including staffing processes, compensation, benefits, employee relations, workforce planning, training, and health and safety programs.  Ms. Ross most recently served as Employee Relations Manager for Zachry Engineering Corporation in Denver, Colorado, where she was responsible for driving the alignment of business and people strategies for the organization utilizing a combination of business acumen and HR functional knowledge.  Prior to that role, Ms. Ross served as Human Resources Manager for Black Hills Corporation based in Golden, Colorado, where she partnered with all levels of management to deliver HR solutions and results across multiple geographical locations.  Ms. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Masters of Arts degree in Organizational Management, both from the University of Phoenix in Denver, Colorado.

Beverly L. Ryan

Director Compliance

Ms. Ryan, a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in both West Virginia and Washington State and an Accredited Fraud Investigator (AFI), joined PDC in May 2007 and was appointed to her current position in December 2008. A Cum Laude graduate of Fairmont State University with a B.S. in Accounting, Ms. Ryan has more than 30 years of accounting and auditing experience, the last 5 of which have been in various leadership roles related to compliance and internal audit. Before joining PDC, Ms. Ryan held a position with Spacelabs Healthcare, Inc., an international medical manufacturing company, based near Seattle, Washington as the Manager of Internal Audit. While at Spacelabs Healthcare, Inc. her responsibilities were primarily to create an internal audit function for the international medical manufacturing company and its subsidiaries. Ms. Ryan has more than 7 years experience with both regional and national audit firms as an external auditor manager working with the a variety of industries, including but not limited to technology, government contracting and financial institutions. In addition, Ms. Ryan has more than 19 years of accounting experience with increasing responsibilities for a utilities and energy company. Ms. Ryan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the West Virginia Society of CPA's (WVCPAS).

Jeffrey B. Salen

Director Drilling USA

Mr. Salen joined PDC Energy in 2006 as Drilling Manager – USA, and was appointed to his current position in December 2010.  He is responsible for all drilling operations across the country.  Mr. Salen has over twenty years of experience in his area of expertise; prior to joining PDC, his previous drilling and field work experience was with Ensign United States Drilling Inc., Mitchell Energy Corp., and Anadrill Schlumberger.  Mr. Salen graduated with a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

James R. Schaff

Vice President Land

Mr. Schaff has over 27 years of progressive experience in the oil, gas, and mining land services industry. Most recently, he served as Landman Team Leader and Senior Staff Landman for Williams Production RMT Company (successor to Barrett Resources Corporation) where he was responsible for providing land support for the negotiation, closing and drilling of all exploration projects in the Rocky Mountain Region, as well as providing land support for the development program in the Piceance Basin. His earlier experiences include Vice President and Land Manager of Nova Natural Resources Corporation, Consulting Landman for U.S. Borax, Inc., and many years serving as an Independent Landman.

Peter G. Schreck

Vice President Finance Treasurer

Mr. Schreck joined PDC Energy (“PDC”) as its Vice President Finance & Treasurer in October 2007, and received the added responsibilities of Investor Relations and Risk Management in October 2008. Mr. Schreck has more than 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to joining PDC, Mr. Schreck served as Vice President - Treasury and Planning for Hanover Compressor Corporation. During Mr. Schreck’s tenure, which began in September 2000, Hanover’s revenues grew from $600 million to over $1.6 billion. Hanover merged with Universal Compression in August 2007 to form Exterran Holdings, Inc. Preceding his employment at Hanover Compressor, Mr. Schreck held financial positions of increasing responsibility during 13 years at Union Pacific Corporation and its affiliated subsidiaries, the last of which was Treasurer of the oil and gas subsidiary Union Pacific Resources which was sold to Anadarko Petroleum in August 2000. Mr. Schreck worked for KPMG Peat Marwick for 2 1/2 years upon his graduation from Lehigh University in June 1986 with a degree in Accounting, and obtained a CPA in May 1988.

Dennis M. Seamon

Director Taxation

Mr. Seamon, a Certified Public Accountant, joined PDC in December 2006. Mr. Seamon began his career in 1986 and spent over five years at the international public accounting firm of KPMG, two years as an auditor and over three years as a tax specialist and tax supervisor. He continued his public accounting career for two additional years as a manager in the tax department of a regional accounting firm. After a brief two years of employment at PNC Bank N.A., where he focused primarily on federal tax research, Mr. Seamon began his employment at Mylan Laboratories Inc. (now Mylan Inc.) in March 1996 as a Manager of Corporate Taxation. Mr. Seamon was later promoted to Director of Corporate Taxation at Mylan as the responsibilities of his position increased over his eleven years of employment with the company. Mr. Seamon holds a BSBAd in Accounting from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV and received his CPA license in 1988. He has supplemented his education with graduate level tax courses and continuous professional education in specialized tax accounting areas. Mr. Seamon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is also a member of the West Virginia Society of CPAs.

Stephanie L. Shomo-McLain

Director General Ledger Accounting and Analysis

Ms. McLain, a Certified Public Accountant, joined PDC energy in February 2007 and was appointed to her current position in September 2011.  Prior to joining PDC, Ms. McLain spent the majority of her career in positions of increasing responsibility, with her last position held as the Director of Accounting, during a seven year period at the Institute for Scientific Research, a non-profit corporation in the high-tech business sector.  Ms. McLain holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Fairmont State University in Fairmont, WV.

Tina R. Smith

Regional Vice President Natural Gas and Oil Marketing

Ms. Smith has served as Vice President of Natural Gas and Oil Marketing since January 2006 and is responsible for the marketing activities for both PDC and its subsidiary, Riley Natural Gas Company. She previously served as Director of Natural Gas Marketing of PDC and Manager of Accounting of RNG and has over 15 years of industry experience, focused on the areas of Derivative Trading, Imbalance Management and Marketing. Ms. Smith is a member of the Independent Oil and Gas Association of West Virginia and the Independent Oil and Gas Association of Pennsylvania and is currently serving on the IOGA-WV Board. She is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a B.S. in Accounting.

Darwin L. Stump

Vice President Accounting

Mr. Stump was appointed to his current position in April 2009 after serving as Chief Accounting Officer since November 2006. Previously, Mr. Stump served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since November 2003. Mr. Stump has been an officer of the Company since April 1995 and held the position of Corporate Controller since 1980 when he joined the Company. Prior to joining PDC, Mr. Stump was a senior accountant with Main Hurdman, Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Stump is a graduate of West Virginia University with a BSBA in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant.

Steven W. Trippett

Asset Director Central

Mr. Trippett was appointed to his current position after serving as Director of Drilling and Completions Operations.  He has over 27 years of industry experience in workovers, well completions, drilling, and production.  Mr. Trippett originally joined PDC in 1984 as a Well Tender.  While working at PDC, he completed Glenville State College’s Petroleum Engineering Technology School.  In his current position, Mr. Trippett is responsible for the supervision of assets in Western Colorado and North Dakota.

Ronald O. Wirth

Director Investor Relations

Mr. Wirth joined PDC in May 2011 as Director of Investor Relations.  Mr. Wirth has approximately 20 years of investor relations experience in the oil and gas industry in Denver and has developed strong relationships with energy analysts, institutional investors and other industry participants.  Prior to PDC, Mr. Wirth served as Vice-President of Investor Relations and Administration for Teton Energy for approximately two years.  Previously, Mr. Wirth was Director of Investor Relations for Western Gas Resources for 16 years, including four years as Treasurer and head of all administrative functions.  Prior to investor relations, Mr. Wirth spent approximately 18 years in various management positions in the banking and real estate fields.  Mr. Wirth has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois.
