Petroleum Development Corporation, the managing general partner, began sponsoring limited partnerships in 1984. Between 1984 and 2007, the Company formed a total of 77 limited partnerships, with over 30,000 investing partners. The Company manges the assets of the PDC partnerships. Each partnership is managed as a separate entity. Investments in partnerships are not investments in Petroleum Development Corporation.
The Company does not plan to sponsor future drilling partnerships inorder to focus its efforts on maximizing the value of the existing partnerships and continuing growth of the Company through drilling and exploration.
